I have done henna a few times for weddings but today was just for fun – and for Ganesh festival tomorrow. No idea yet as to what will happen but we are ready! Everyone in the city was doing henna, so of course we had to join in – even my colleague Colin was the only man getting the special elephant head God on his shoulder – and while usually the girls get most of the looks here (we haven’t seen a single tourist yet, so stand out a bit) it was Colin’s turn today to get the stares 🙂
